Not your typical Katie McGarry novel as it centered more around family dynamics. I'd give it 4.5 ⭐ out of 5. Told in alternating points of view just as her previous novels.

This follow up to Dumplin' has been sitting on my night stand for quite some time. I finally broke down this week to knock it off my TBR pile (plus a student asked for it). Decent second book in the series.

This book makes me so thankful for "normal" parents and the right to be educated! Wow! This is a step outside my comfort zone from what I normally read but so worth it!

Beartown...

So much more than a book about hockey! I can't wait to see what happens in book #2. Started slow and didn't realize there was more to the story line than just hockey. Worth every page!
