The Moon and More...

Finally finished book #3 for the summer. Reading has been super slow for me this summer. Hoping to change that in the next two weeks! This wasn't my favorite Sarah Dessen book. She hasn't released a book for two years. I knew this would be one that I would have to read since the girls would be reading it as soon as school starts in August. A little different than her other books but still glad I finished it. This one also seemed a little slower moving and longer than her other books. I don't know if that is because I've started reading the new young-adult contemporary type of books that instantly pull you in and are a little faster moving than this type of novel. Nonetheless, we ordered two copies of the book and I'm sure they will be checked out all the time.

Dare You To...

What a fabulous followup to Pushing the Limits! I liked the alternating points of view between the two main characters. This was an easy and enjoyable read. I'm not sure I will be reading the third book in the series when it is released as I'm not too keen on the character of the main character. I will have some many students that will enjoy this book when we return in August! You will cheer for the underdog in this one!

My boyfriend Gideon Cross was back in fullforce in the 3rd book in the Crossfire series. The great news is there will be a book four! I don't know that I could live without my fictional boyfriend in my life. Great book! And no, this one will not be going on the library shelf! Purchased out of my own pocket and will gladly let my friends borrow!

Where You Are...

The second book in the Between the Lines series wasn't anything to write home about. The book switches almost every two pages to a different character's point of view. I love to know what the other characters are thinking, but it was overdone for me in this book. I'm sure I will still read book three in the series.

Fly Away...

The long anticipated followup to Firefly Lane. I know several ladies that are going to be thrilled with this book as Firefly Lane was their favorite Kristin Hannah novel! This was a good read to end the school year with. Now, I will be waiting for the next Kristin Hannah book. I'm still hoping that Night Road will be turned into a series!

Finished the Nicole Williams Crash series last night. Book #3 was just as good as Crash and Clash. Quick, easy read that will not disappoint.

Game by Barry Lyga was just as good as I Hunt Killers! There has to be a book 3! The book starts a little slow but definitely picks up speed about page 150. This book will interest guys and girls that enjoy a good mystery with a little bit of a psycho twist. Can you imagine your dad being a famous serial killer? Game will not disappoint!
