My students - and I - enjoyed Suzanne Young's previous books. This book follows that same feeling. It is definitely a science fiction/dystopian novel. I think both the guys and girls in my library will like this one. I know which student will probably be the first to check it out. :) This book is listed as #0.5 in the series and should be read before The Program series. I think it could be a stand alone.
