Killer Instinct...

Loved the first book in this series (The Naturals) and enjoyed this one just as much. Took me a while to read the book since it is the busy time of the year. I know my students who like CSI, Criminal Minds, Stalker, etc. will really enjoy this book! I can't wait for book #3!

Wasn't my favorite of the series, but I still enjoyed it! I can't wait until she releases Asa.

I struggled to finish this one. It took me over two weeks to finish this one. I usually love John Grisham's books but this one I struggled with.

I don't read a lot of biographies. I did however enjoy this one! Super fast read! This book will make a great addition for my students when choosing a nonfiction book. You will cheer for Paige in this book all the way through!

I used to love anything by Picoult. The last four or five of her books have left me disappointed. This one started out really good but just ended up weird in the end. I skipped almost every chapter from the Mom's point of view.

I love Lauren Oliver as a young adult author. Not sure what to think of her as an adult author. I can't seem to get through this book. About to give up and not sure if it will go on the shelf. On a positive note, I picked up Jodi Picoult's new book last night and can't wait to start it. Here's hoping it is better than the last couple of books I've tried to read.

I'll Give You the Sun...

I wanted to like this book so bad. It received awesome reviews! I gave up after a little more than 100 pages. Not sure what it is with my book picking skills this year, but I'm beginning to think I shouldn't pay any attention to the reviews.

Good little thriller. A little slow to start but definitely decent in the end. Has a little twist of paranormal to go with the suspense/thriller part of the book.

Falling Into Place...

I could not finish this book. There was a lot of hype about this one and I just didn't enjoy it. I stopped about 100 pages short of finishing the book. I hoped I would enjoy it the same way I did Before I Fall and If I Stay.

Picked this book up at Target. I enjoyed it. Good story about getting to know people with a little (okay maybe a lot) love twist tied in to the book. The girls will enjoy this one!

Loved this one! Super quick read! I was really glad I brought this one home to read over the Labor Day weekend. Great book for anyone that is into Criminal Minds. I definitely did not see the ending coming! I hope there is a sequel written to this book.

I love Jay Crownover as an author. I really love her Marked Men series. The first book in the Point series was good but I still prefer the Marked Men books. Science fiction, romance and dystopia all rolled up into one book. I enjoyed this one! I can now see why my students liked this book so much at the end of the school year. I will definitely read book 2 in the series.

Beautiful Oblivion...

I enjoyed this one so much! Can't wait to read book #2 in the series. I think I need to go back and reread some parts of book #1 to figure out what I missed in this one. The last chapter left me speechless because I definitely missed something during the book!

I enjoy Heather Gudenkauf's books! This one may be my favorite of her four books I've read. One chapter from the social worker's point of view followed by a chapter about Jenny. I enjoyed how the stories came together in the last few chapters of the book. Definitely something I didn't see coming!

Definitely not my favorite Janet Evanovich books in the Stephanie Plum series. I didn't laugh like I normally do throughout this book. Still a good, easy read.

Doesn't take much to ruin someone's reputation. Told from four different points of view until the last chapter. We finally get to hear from Alice in the last chapter. Read this book in two sittings. Short and easy read. Definitely the dynamics of a typical high school and the stereotypes that follow.

Super short book! This one is #2.5 in the series. It will not go on the library shelves. Loved the first couple of books in this series and this one was a quick read as well.

Not what I was expecting at all from this book! I thought the book was going to be about a girl dealing with a port-wine stain on her face. Man, did I get so much more from this one! I wanted to read it when it originally arrived in the library, but didn't get the opportunity. My first real read of the summer vacation. Hoping the books I read net will be just as good as this one! I read it in less than 24 hours.

The Chase...

I love any book that Janet Evanovich writes. This series is definitely different than the Stephanie Plum novels. Not as funny as the SP series but still enjoyable.

The Geography of You and Me...

Had a strong start but not such a strong ending for me. I enjoyed the previous book this author wrote but didn't like this one as much. It will still be a popular book in the library once it hits the shelves.

I liked this book and it kept me guessing until the end! Definitely a mystery. I liked that is had a science twist to it! Really good read for being the first book by Elle Cosimano.

Definitely my favorite cover thus far in the Marked Men series! The man on the cover reminds me of Wentworth Miller from the Prison Break tv series. Book #3 was a great followup to Jet. I love this series with all of the spinoff characters. This series will not be included on the library shelves. I can't wait to get my hands on book #4, Nash.

Lots of chapters so I had many good stopping points. I liked this one. Easy read! I did need more closure at the end of the book than what I was given. My goal for spring break was to read four books. Tonight, I will start my fourth book. Don't think I will finish it in one night though.

Read this one in a weekend. Quick read! I'm a big fan of Lauren Oliver's books. This one may not be my favorite of all of her books but is really good!

This one was just as good as the first book! A couple of twists that I didn't see. I thoroughly enjoyed this one! I liked that Griffin had a couple of chapters that told his point of view.

Wow! Wow! Wow! This book was an emotional rollercoaster! Told from alternating points of view between Nastya and Josh. You don't get the entire story until the end of the book. So much going on in this novel. It is a definite MUST read! The book has amazing reviews and ratings on Goodreads! Definitely worth the several nights it took me to finish this one.

So glad to be finished with this book! It was a struggle for me to finish. For those of you that know me you know I'm a quick reader. This one took me over a week to finish. Cute story line but lost a little something for me in the last 75 pages.
